Maori Qualification Services (MQS) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
In line with their planned review cycle, these unit standards were reviewed by MQS and Whakaruruhau to ensure they remain fit for purpose, relevant, and that their outcomes are achievable and consistent with assessment practices.
Main changes
· The tohutō (macron) is not required in the kupu puoro therefore, the titles (and relevant content) of all standards were corrected to reflect this.
· Credit value for standard 30240 was increased from 7 to 8 to reflect the addition of the performance criteria.
· Title changes were made to standards 30244, 31119, 30239, 30246, 3112 and 31122 for clarity, currency and relevance to Taonga Puoro (i ēnei rā).
· Guidance information was updated to include relevant legislation and quantifiers where appropriate.
· Some range statements were amended to provide clarity as to the types and amount of evidence required or removed where deemed unnecessary.
· Minor edits made to some performance criteria for consistency.
· Unit standard 31118 was reclassified from Te Whakatīnanatanga to Te Whakatangi.
