Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published February 2022
Planned review date December 2024
Summary
The above review process was originally initiated by MITO New Zealand Incorporated in 2020. Though industry has still deemed these standards as necessary with ad-hoc assessment still required, usage will be monitored over the duration leading into the next planned review date due to the recent very low or no usage across several of these standards. The review ensured the unit standards are fit-for-purpose for the ports and stevedoring industry sectors.
MITO conducted industry consultation in November/December 2020. Consultation feedback was actioned where appropriate.
Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council completed the review in 2021.
