Summary
The Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics WDC reviewed Automotive Reglazing unit standards to ensure they are fit-for-purpose for the industry sector. The review was supported by the automotive reglazing working group including subject matter experts and WDC representatives. The standards were circulated to the working groups’ networks and consent to assess holders. Feedback received was actioned where appropriate and recirculated for final comment and further considerations.
Main changes
· Guidance information, outcomes, and performance criteria were updated to reflect terminology used in the current template, to ensure they remain relevant and current.
· Units 22348, 22350, and 28768 increased from Level 3 to Level 4 to better reflect the outcomes and complexity level.
· Units 28766 and 28767 were expired as they were deemed no longer fit for purpose. Units 33014 and 33015, and 33017 and 33018 were developed to better reflect the outcomes of the reviewed skillsets.
· Titles of unit standards have been updated to better reflect the unit standard purpose.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2023
