NZQA National Qualifications Services has completed the development of twelve new unit standards listed below.

Summary

 

These standards were developed at the request of stakeholders, to support the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1) [Ref: 2861]. The standards were drafted by a panel representative of stakeholders and were endorsed through consultation with stakeholders. The standards collectively can be used for assessment in programmes leading to the Certificate and can be used in other contexts as required.

 

Main changes

 

·         Twelve new standards were developed.

·         The new standards are listed in the new domain Foundation Skills – Te Ara Tupu.

·         New domain Foundation Skills – Te Ara Tupu has also been added to the Base Scope of Assessment.
