The NZQA Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) has completed a review of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                               April 2023

Summary

The reviewed unit standards have had little or no usage since they were developed. MQS has expired these standards due to complexity, high credit values, obsolete reference information, reference material inaccessibility and low usage. Following on from the expiry of the current standards, MQS will refresh the subfield with new standards that are more relevant, current, and purposeful for providers, kura, whānau, hapū, marae, iwi and hapori.

Main changes

·                All reviewed unit standards were set to expire.

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2024
