Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council has completed the rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The consultation process for the revision of these unit standards was conducted from December 2022 – February 2023. Limited feedback was received from external stakeholders with that feedback being supportive of minimal changes to the standards at this time.

It was noted that with New Zealand Curricula, Skills Standards and Micro-Credentials being developed in the coming years, there is little benefit in making significant changes to these unit standards at this time.

Main changes

· Standard setting body contact details amended from NZQA National Qualifications Services to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.

· Guidance Information has been updated so that definitions are alphabetical.

· Definitions relating to risk moved from GI 6 Definitions to GI 8 References for standard 25778.

· Superseded standard SA/SNA HB 89:2013 replaced with AS/NZC IEC 31010:2020 in standard 25778 GI 8 References.

· GI 4 removed from unit standard 18336 as unit standard 8493 is expiring. LDA is 21/12/2023.
