Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has completed the rollover of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

All unit standards within the Fibrous Plaster, Plaster Board, and Specialist Interiors domains are due for review in December 2023.  The unit standards will be rolled over as they remain fit for purpose. The review of the qualifications to which these unit standards align will be brought forward to be completed by December 2025. 

All providers with consent to assess and industry stakeholders were informed of the intention to carry out the rollover and invited to comment.  There were no objections to the proposed rollover.

Main changes

· References within the unit standards to the Specifications to which they are aligned have been updated as the standard setting responsibility for these Specifications was transferred from BCITO to Waihanga Ara Rau in 2021.

· The planned review date for all unit standards listed above was changed from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2025.
