Summary
Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure WDC and representatives from the temporary traffic management industry have developed the unit standards listed above. The unit standards were developed to address a skills and knowledge gap and will give employers confidence that learners have the skills and knowledge to undertake risk assessment and to develop traffic management plans. The unit standards will be covered by CMR 0101.
Employers, Civil Contractors New Zealand, and industry subject matter experts from the temporary traffic management industry were consulted during October and November 2022 via email and online meetings.
