Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has revised the above unit standards to extend the last date of assessment.

Summary

Representatives from the scaffolding industry and providers requested an extension to the Last Date of Assessment for all unit standards listed above.

The reason for the extension was to allow a reasonable amount of time for the redevelopment of Programme of Study documents, new delivery plans and redeveloped learning, teaching, and assessment resources. This is not expected to be completed before the current last date of assessment of 31 December 2023. This date has now been extended to 31 December 2025.

Main changes

· The last date of assessment was extended to from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2025 on 47 unit standards listed above.

· The email address was updated from qualifications@waihanga.nz to qualifications@waihangaararau.nz.

· Expiring unit standard 20862 needs its last date of extension extended because it supports the delivery of the New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding (Trade) (Level 4) [Ref: 3710].
