Summary
The review was undertaken as part of the planned cycle of review of MQS unit standards.
MQS along with Whakaruruhau, reviewed the Manaaki Marae – Marae Hospitality unit standards to ensure that they remain fit for purpose, are relevant, and meet the needs and aspirations of ākonga, whānau, hapū and iwi.
Main changes
The main changes that were made to the standards include the following:
· Minor wording changes have been made to titles, purpose, guidance information, outcomes and performance criteria for relevancy, consistency and to provide clarity for users, assessors, and learners.
· Glossaries have been updated.
· Grammatical errors have been corrected.
