Summary

Ringa Hora reviewed the 9 Cook Island Tourism standards due for review in 2020. The purpose of the review was to determine whether the standards were and continue to be useful and relevant to the sector.

Consultation with key stakeholders and organisations with consent to assess was undertaken between August and October 2022, and feedback confirmed the ongoing need for the standards with minimal change.

·      Some titles have been changed to better match with the current industry standards.

·      Definitions have been added to some standards along with some performance criteria that have changed/revised to match industry standards.

·      Last date for assessment has been added for all superseded versions.
