Review of Electricity Supply unit standards
Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council reviewed the above unit standards that were due for review in 2022. Stakeholders were invited to provide feedback via email and the Waihanga Ara Rau website. Feedback was discussed by a working party and the recommendations were published on the website.
A group of unit standards with no usage were identified and recommended for expiry.
All providers with consent to assess and other key stakeholders were informed of the proposed review and expiry and were invited to comment. All responses were in favour of the proposal.
Main changes
· The Guidance Information in unit standards was updated to align with other unit standards in Electricity Supply domains.
· Three outcomes were removed from Unit 18273 because they do not align with the role of a Line Mechanic, and the title was amended to align with the remaining outcomes.
· Ten unit standards were designated as expiring because of low or no usage.
Category D unit standards will expire on 31 December 2024
The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is 31 December 2024.
