Summary

These standards were overdue for review and there has been a lack of use in the past five years.

Providers and industry representatives were consulted from September – October 2022 on future use and need for these standards.  Consultation documents were published on the Waihanga Ara Rau website and circulated via email.  Confirmation was received from providers and industry representatives that they agreed with the expiry of the standards.

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council recommends that these unit standards be expired.

Main changes

· All unit standards are set to expire on 31 December 2023 due to low or no recent usage.

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2023
