Summary

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure WDC and representatives from the underground utility location industry have developed the unit standards listed above.  The unit standards will give employers confidence that learners who are new to the industry have the skills and knowledge to undertake low risk location work.

Industry organisations, employers, subject matter experts, and training providers from the underground utility location industry were consulted during October and November 2022 via email and online meetings.
