Summary of review and consultation process |
An Advisory Group (AG) was formed, using experts in their respective fields who would be able to provide advice and guidance on the specialist requirements of the Flight Attendant role, and included Providers, three airlines, and the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). An online meeting was held during mid-October 2022. Consultation took place to ensure current practice and regulations were being met, and any gaps were identified and addressed. Advice on technical content was provided by the AG, which informed the qualification, as well as considering programme design. Earlier feedback had been incorporated into the draft qualification document, so was included in the review discussions. Following the meeting, the draft was updated to reflect the outcomes of the meeting. The final draft was circulated back to the AG for any further feedback, and following their consultation with their networks, the qualification was endorsed. |
