Summary of review and consultation process

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council and the Crane industry collaborated to publicise the review and invite expressions of interest to join a Crane Technical Advisory Group.  Waihanga Ara Rau also publicised the Crane review through its website.

The Crane Technical Advisory Group was formed with representation from industry, employers and education providers for the purpose of reviewing the crane qualifications.  Four on-line meetings were held to review each qualification.  Stakeholder feedback was used to develop new versions of these qualifications and were sent back to the stakeholders for their critique.

Technical Advisory Group members endorsed the new versions of the qualifications by signing attestations.
