Summary of review and consultation process |
The above qualifications were reviewed by Toi Mai Workforce Development Council, and a specialist advisory group of key industry practitioners and tertiary education providers, who met several times in mid-2022. The review was conducted concurrently with the review of Communications Media, Radio Broadcasting and Screen Production qualifications to ensure consistency across the suite. The proposed changes to the New Zealand Diploma in Journalism (Level 5) and the decision to expire the remaining two qualifications were distributed for consultation with key stakeholders and then made available for open consultation via Toi Mai’s website in late 2022. The review and expiration of these qualifications was supported by these stakeholders. |
