Summary of republication

Muka Tangata – People, Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council is currently reviewing the New Zealand Certificate in Equine Racing (Level 4) with strands in Thoroughbred Racing Jockey, Harness Trainer, and Harness Racing Driver [Ref: 4221-1] that replaced the New Zealand Certificate in Equine Racing (Level 4) with strands in Thoroughbred Racing Jockey, Harness Driver/Trainer, and Harness Racing Driver [Ref: 2374-2].

The last date of entry to programmes leading to the replaced qualification was extended from 31 December 2024 to 31 December 2025 and the last date of assessment from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2026, to provide the necessary time to complete the review of the replacement qualification and develop the programme leading to the replacement qualification new version and its supporting documents.
