Date new versions published                                                               March 2023

Planned review date                                                                              December 2025

Summary

The above unit standards were revised to adjust the credit values to better align with notional learning and assessment time required because of feedback from industry.  These changes will ensure that the standards are more flexible when more launch providers enter the market.  Furthermore, nine new standards were written to align with the New Zealand Certificate in Aerospace Engineering (Level 4) [Ref: 4741].

Main changes

·      Unit standard 32128, the credit value was increased from 10 to 20.

·      Unit standard 32129, the credit value was decreased from 20 to 10.

·      Unit standard 32132, the credit value was increased from 15 to 30 and the title was changed to better align with the aerospace environment.

·      Unit standard 32134, the credit value was increased from 15 to 30.

·      Nine new unit standards were written.

·      The standard setting body details were updated to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.
