Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing (H-A-R), Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published May 2023
Planned review date December 2027
Summary
H-A-R reviewed the motor industry unit standards for the listed unit standards above to ensure they continued to be fit-for-purpose for the motor industry.
H-A-R carried out the review to better align the unit standards to the graduate profile outcomes of the New Zealand Automotive Refinishing, and Collision Repair suite of qualifications. Various unit standards were reviewed in batches between 2020 and 2021 giving multiple ‘next review dates’. These have now been consolidated to give a next review date of 2027. Providers with consent to assess were invited for input and feedback via email. Industry and subject matter experts also provided feedback and input into the review of these unit standards through online meetings and emails.

· Level 5 unit standards 21102, 24013 and 24017 have been reclassified to Level 4 to better align with the new Level 4 qualification outcomes.
