Summary
Ringa Hora Services WDC reviewed six unit standards within the Aircraft Operation domain which are specific to gliding operations.
Consultation was carried out between December 2022 and July 2023 with subject matter experts from New Zealand’s gliding sector, by email, and through an online meeting, requesting feedback on the changes to align with the current Gliding New Zealand syllabi.
Changes were made where required and confirmed by the subject matter experts.
Main changes
· Purpose statements, guidance information, outcomes, performance criteria, and range statements were amended where applicable to ensure they are accurate and fit for purpose, reflect the standard content, and to ensure clarity for users in line with regulatory requirements.
· Unit standard 26836-26838 had their titles amended to reflect current terminology.
· Standard setting body details were updated from ServiceIQ to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.
Impact on Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR)
Reviewed standards were moved from CMR 0169 to CMR 0028.
