Summary of review and consultation process

Muka Tangata Workforce Development Council was approached by a training provider with a request to extend the last date of entry and last date of assessment of this qualification,  to allow providers time to develop resources and transition onto the replacement qualification.

Main changes resulting from the republication

Qualification specification information was updated for other requirements to include Health and Safety legislation and Approved Code of Practice.

The last date of entry of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2024 to 31 March 2026.

The last date of assessment for this qualification has been extended from 30 June 2025 to 31 December 2026.

The replacement qualification New Zealand Certificate in Forest Industry Foundation Skills (Level 2) [Ref: 4918] has been republished to reflect this information.
