Summary of development/review and consultation process

Toitū te Waiora Workforce Development Council was contacted by the Qualification Developer, requesting that the qualification be reviewed to become a New Zealand qualification.

Details of the Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences (Naturopathy and Nutrition) (Level 7) [Ref: 3727] qualification, were transferred onto the current template for New Zealand qualifications, information gaps and discrepancies were identified, Aspire2 worked jointly with Toitu te Waiora to develop a first draft to be used for sector consultation.

The draft of the reviewed/replacement qualification was advertised on the Toitū te Waiora WDC website and circulated to all known stakeholders for feedback. 

No further feedback was received through this last round of consultation.

Last dates of entry and assessment were assigned to the replaced qualification.

The qualification was transferred onto the current NZQA template.

Changes included:

Qualification title and new reference.

Graduate Profile Outcome contexts added.

Evidence requirements for award, assuring consistency, minimum standard of achievement, general conditions, entry requirements.
