Summary of development/review and consultation process |
|
Meetings were held with business, ServiceIQ and other interested parties (providers) in May 2024. Minor changes to the outcomes of the qualifications were recommended to clarify their purpose and remove unrealistic expectations. The reviewed drafts were circulated to interested parties and consensus was reached for submission to NZQA for approval |

The following were updated: · Qualification Developer details, version, and review dates. · Qualification requirements and programme conditions were included. · Strategic purpose statements updated to reflect current practice, without changing the intent. New Zealand Certificate in Catering Services (Level 4) [Ref: 2107] · Graduate profile outcome 2 credits were reduced. · Graduate profile outcome 4 was changed to incorporate three smaller outcomes to better reflect industry practice. · Graduate profile outcome 4 credits were increased. · Graduate profile outcome 7 was removed as not matching industry practice.
