Summary of revision
CMR 0099 has been revised to include an appendix to cover newly registered Screen Industry Skills skill standards which were approved in March 2024. At the time of approval of these standards CMR 0099 was being reviewed to align to the newly released template, therefore no CMR revision was made. It is expected that this full review will not be completed until later in 2024, therefore a change is necessary now to incorporate the screen standards.
Screen Sector Requirements for consent to assess were drafted and consulted on with industry during the development of the screen skill standards in 2023.
Compliance with new requirements
Requirements for consent to assess will apply with effect from June 2024.
Moderation system requirements will apply with effect from June 2024.
Organisations applying for consent to assess will be expected to be able to demonstrate compliance with the CMR from June 2024 onwards.
