Registration of Small Business skill standard

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council has registered a new skill standard in the Small Business domain.

Summary

This skill standard was developed with the Workforce Development Councils and industry stakeholders such as small, medium and large businesses, and education providers who teach business skills.  Consultation was conducted in 2023 with stakeholders from a wide range of industries to ensure the skill standard can be used holistically and is fit for purpose for self-employed contractors.  Feedback on the draft standard was received externally and internally and this was incorporated in the standard and refined until all parties involved were satisfied.  Once a final draft was created and accepted, it was sent to NZQA for approval in 2024.
