The qualification listed above was reviewed July 2023 to February 2024. A technical advisory group (TAG) was formed from industry and providers with consent to assess the unit standards specific to Lifting Engineering. Information was posted on the Waihanga Ara Rau website and stakeholders informed by email. The collated feedback indicated that the qualification listed above is not fit for purpose as it does not offer clear pathways for school leavers to end users/technicians to specialists/supervisors. There are no approved programmes or associated unit standards supporting this qualification and no graduates or trainees. This qualification is not required. |
