Registration of Civil Plant Operation skill standards

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has completed the development of two skill standards to be listed in the Civil Plant Operation domain.

Summary

The skill standards listed above were developed at the request of demolition organisations to address a gap in skills required by the sector.  Waihanga Ara Rau worked collaboratively with representatives from the demolition sector, including the New Zealand Demolition and Asbestos Association (NZDAA), to develop these skill standards.  Consultation was held from 21 April 2023 to 14 November 2023 through email, survey, face-to-face hui and online meetings.  Industry representatives endorsed the new skill standards for registration.
