Summary

As a result of the planned standards review cycle, MQS along with the Whakaruruhau, reviewed the Ngā Mahi a Te Whare Pora unit standards to ensure they remain fit for purpose, current, and meet the aspirations and needs of ākonga, as well as whānau, hapū, and iwi.

Main changes

The main changes that were made to the standards include the following:

· Credits have been decreased for standard 7891 to better reflect the time needed to complete the requirements.

· Title changes have been made to better reflect the requirements of the standards.

· Minor wording changes have been made to some outcomes and performance criteria for relevancy, consistency and to provide clarity for ākonga and kaiako.

· Glossaries have been updated.

· Grammatical errors have been corrected.

· Standard 7888 moved from its current domain (Tāniko) to new domain (Taonga).

· Standard 27102 to be expired due to no usage.
