Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council has completed a rollover and revision of the unit standards in the domains listed above.
Date new versions published May 2024
Planned review date December 2027
Summary
Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council, in consultation with stakeholders, has revised and rolled over fifty Aeronautical Engineering unit standards.
This will form part of several applications due to the number of unit standards going through the same maintenance process.
The opportunity was taken to carry out amendments for consistency of formatting styles and wording of unit standards within the domains, and to correct an issue where a prerequisite requirement had been removed from two unit standards.
The sector has confirmed that these standards are still fit for purpose, and with skill standards being developed to align with the Aeronautical Engineering suite of qualifications due for review by December 2027, agreed there is little benefit in making significant changes to these unit standards at this time.
Main changes
· Unit standards 3404, 3410, 3422, 4087-4090, 4097, 20637, and 23160 have all received minor amendments for consistency.
· Unit standards 4087 and 4088 had the colour contrast differentiation added back as a prerequisite requirement.
· The planned review date was extended from 31 December 2024 to 31 December 2027.
· Standard setting body information was updated from ServiceIQ to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.
