Toi Mai Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Toi Mai Workforce Development Council undertook a review of the above listed unit standards. The review process involved a provider and industry hui held in March 2024, followed by both targeted and open consultation during August and September 2024. It was agreed that the standards remain fit for purpose and align with the reviewed outdoor recreation qualifications. Minor changes were made to update guidance information. Three standards were identified as being able to be expired without direct replacement.
Main changes
· Guidance Information updated including safety guidelines and industry codes, and references to programme guidance documents removed as they are no longer used.
· The Standard Setting Body changed from Skills Active to Toi Mai Workforce Development Council.
· Standards 24665, 28189 and 28191 were set to expire given they have had little to no usage.
Category D standards will expire at the end of December 2026
