Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has completed a review of the unit standards listed above.

 

Summary

 

In October 2024 a revision of temporary traffic management unit standards was initiated by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency who will be turning off the warrant system and retiring the Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) as the industry moves toward a risk-based approach to TTM.

 

Following this revision, the unit standards were reviewed and the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Industry Steering Group and Providers with consent to assess agreed with the decision to expire the above unit standards.

·            Unit standards 31957 – 31963 were set to expire.

 

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2026.
