Summary of review and consultation process

This qualification is expiring. A provider has requested an extension to the last date of assessment as the qualification is included in a complex programme and they are unable to develop a programme to transfer existing learners onto.

An extension to last date of assessment of the expiring qualification will give time for replacement programmes to be developed. 

Waihanga Ara Rau has undertaken an early review of the New Zealand Certificate in Glazing (Level 4) [Ref: 2495] to address duplication in the strands and support programme development.

Main changes resulting from the review process

· The last date of assessment for this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2024 to 31 December 2025.

· The qualification has been republished.

It is the intention that no learner should be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements.
