Rollover and revision of Infrastructure Laboratory unit standards

Summary

The planned review date for the unit standards is currently set as 31 December 2024.  The extension to December 2025 will give providers time to update programmes and materials. Legislation was updated to ensure it remains relevant.

Civil Engineering Testing Association of New Zealand (CETANZ) members and training provider Connexis were consulted. All agreed with the proposed extension and changes.

Main changes

· Planned review dates have been extended from 31 December 2024 to 31 December 2025.

· Prerequisite information was moved to the Guidance Information section as 'recommended for entry' information to maintain consistency across standards.

· Relevant legislation and standards were updated.

· The SSB details were updated from Connexis to Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council.
