Registration of Occupational Health and Safety Practice skill standard  

 

Toitū te Waiora, Community, Health, Education and Social Services Workforce Development Council has developed one new skill standard to be listed in the Occupational Health and Safety Practice domain.

Summary

 

Toitū te Waiora Community, Health, Education, and Social Services Workforce Development Council consulted with Te Tari Pūreke | Firearms Safety Authority, between May and July 2024, to develop a skill standard that would support firearm safety in New Zealand. This skill standard has been designed to be used for assessment by Te Tari Pūreke division of the Royal New Zealand Police College, within the New Zealand firearms licensing process.

 

Wider consultation on this skill standard was sought through the Toitū te Waiora website during July 2024. Te Tari Pūreke | Firearms Safety Authority supports the development of the new skill standard.
