Summary
The standards were reviewed in June 2024 as part of a wider review of Industrial Textile Fabrication qualifications and standards. Hanga-Aro-Rau Workforce Development Council worked with MAST Academy; a key provider who gathered evidence from industry to support the changes made. Changes were required to bring units up to date with current industry practice and provide greater flexibility for assessment.
Main changes
· One new unit standard 33424 was developed.
· Unit Standard 11804 is set to expire.
· Guidance information and range statements in four unit standards were updated.
Category D standard will expire at the end of December 2026
