Summary of development and consultation process

Toitū te Waiora were approached by Community Housing Aotearoa (CHA) requesting support to develop and list the New Zealand Certificate in Community Housing (Tenancy Management) (Level 4). The qualification will provide a pathway for learners beyond Level 4 and is suitable for learners currently working in the sector.

Toitū te Waiora undertook a needs analysis, worked with stakeholders suggested by CHA, and worked with CHA to develop a qualification to support tenancy managers working in the community housing sector. This draft qualification document was made available on the Toitū te Waiora website and circulated via networks for feedback. The listed qualification meets the stated need.
