The New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5) [Ref: 2889-3] was reviewed in June 2025. and replaced by the New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5) [Ref: 5354-1] Ara Institute of Canterbury extended the last date for entry and last date for assessment, at the request of a provider, to allow for transition of learners onto the replacement qualification. |

The last date for entry for version 3 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 July 2026. The last date for assessment for version 3 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2026 to 31 December 2027. All learners who have not completed the replaced qualification by 31 December 2027 must be transitioned to the replacement. Both qualifications have been republished to signal this. |
