Registration of Business Operations and Development skill standards

 

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council (WDC) has completed the development of nine skill standards to align with a suite of leadership qualifications for Levels 5 and 6.

Summary

 

Following the review and development of leadership qualifications, Ringa Hora WDC has developed nine skill standards to align to the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) with strand in Leadership [Ref: 2459], and New Zealand Diploma in Strategic Leadership (Level 6) [Ref: 5355]. The standards were developed to align to the graduate profile outcomes of the qualifications and can also be used towards programmes with leadership components.

 

The development of the skill standards took place between July 2024-August 2025 in consultation with various industry, tertiary education organisations, Māori and Pacific representation, tangata whaikaha, and other Workforce Development Councils.
