Summary
During 2024, Muka Tangata consulted with providers regarding unit standards that had seen zero or low usage over the past five years. The consultation identified eleven standards in the Horticulture, Sports Turf, and Primary Sector subfields which were no longer required by industry. These standards were designated expiring.
Main changes
· Standards 10944, 10945, 10948, 10949, 17259, 21041, and 21961 from the Horticulture subfield were designated expiring.
· Standards 21446 and 30588 from the Sports Turf subfield were designated expiring.
· Standards 21551 and 31539 from the Primary Sector subfield were designated expiring.
Category D standards will expire at the end of December 2026
