Key qualification review, development and consultation phases: Input and feedback from key stakeholders were invited and incorporated into the review and qualification developments. Key phases in the process included: · Industry wide wānanga in August 2023 to gather feedback about training for the industry. · Pre-review survey on Toi Mai’s website May 2025. · Direct contact with providers and industry consumers to obtain feedback. · Advisory group meeting held July 2025. |

Changes to both reviewed qualifications. · Updated education pathways to reflect recently reviewed and new Outdoor qualifications. · Updated employment pathways. · Reworded Consistency review information. · Updated Programme conditions to include diversity and inclusion considerations and current legislation. · Minor change to Graduate profile outcome 2 in both qualifications to ‘apply kaitiakitanga’ and remove the reference to sustainability. |
