Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has completed the rollover and revision of 12 unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published August 2025
Planned review date December 2026
Summary
Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has extended the review date to 31 December 2026 to align with the review of the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline Construction and Maintenance) (Level 4) [Ref: 3858] with strands in Drinking-Water, Stormwater and Wastewater, and Trenchless Technologies, and the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works Pipe Installation (Level 4) [Ref: 4441]. Industry has confirmed that the unit standards are in line with current industry practice and are fit for purpose. There were no changes to classification, outcomes, performance criteria, level or credits. The rollover was circulated to key stakeholders in March 2025 who have confirmed their support for the proposed rollover.
