Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

The last date of assessment for superseded versions of the unit standards listed above is December 2025.  Programme development for the associated mechanical engineering qualifications has been delayed due to a lack of relevant Level 4 standards registered on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).  Skill standard development is required by Hanga-Aro-Rau Workforce Development Council to address this shortfall.

This extension to the last date of assessment for superseded versions of the unit standards will allow programme developers sufficient time to undertake the development of required learning and assessment resources.

Main changes

· The last date of assessment for superseded versions of the unit standards listed was extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2027.

· Industry standards were updated for currency.
