Summary of review and consultation process

The qualification listed above was reviewed between October-December 2024.

During 2024 Waka Kotahi the New Zealand Transport Agency retired the Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) and the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) industry transitioned to a new risk-based approach.

The TTM Credentials Framework Working Group, a sub-group of the TTM Industry Steering Group, and the industry technical advisory group have been working on developing skill standards that align with a proposed TTM Credentials Framework www.ttm-isg.org supporting the new approach.

Consultation with online meetings and representation from the TTM industry, and providers with consent to assess was conducted to gain feedback on the recommendation this qualification should be discontinued and not replaced.

The feedback confirmed the qualification listed above is not fit for purpose as it no longer meets industry requirements. Attestations were received from stakeholders to confirm this qualification is no longer required.
