Date new versions published February 2025
Planned review date December 2029
Summary
Following the Health and Wellbeing qualification review in 2024, Toitū te Waiora WDC developed a range of Level 3 skill standards to provide learners with some theoretical knowledge of common long-term conditions.
Development of the skill standards took place between May and September 2024 in consultation with four charitable trusts – Diabetes New Zealand, Arthritis New Zealand Mateponapona Aotearoa, Heart Foundation, and Stroke Foundation New Zealand. These skill standards are intended to form part of a wider suite of skill standards at Levels 3 and 4 concerning knowledge and support for long-term conditions.
