|
Toitū te Waiora received a request to develop and list this qualification. This qualification completes the Education Support suite, which currently includes: · New Zealand Certificate in Education Support and Care (Level 3) [Ref: 2962] · New Zealand Certificate in Education Support (Level 4) [Ref: 2761]. The Level 5 Diploma provides a pathway for learners beyond Level 4 and is suitable for learners currently working in the sector or considering a career in Education Support. Additionally, it may also be a stepping stone for those considering pursuing a teaching degree. Toitū te Waiora undertook a needs analysis, reviewed stakeholder support, and collaborated with the sector to develop a national qualification to support the Education Support workforce. The draft qualification document was made available on the Toitū te Waiora website and circulated via industry and sector networks for feedback. |
