Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has registered new skill standards in the Temporary Traffic Management domain.

Date new versions published                                                               January 2025

Planned review date                                                                              December 2029

Summary

These standards were developed to support workplace-based learning and to align with the new Temporary Traffic Management Credentials Framework developed by the Temporary Traffic Management industry steering group.

The development was overseen by a technical advisory group consisting of industry representatives with the appropriate knowledge and skills in temporary traffic management, programme development, and assessment. The technical advisory group convened in March 2023 with online meetings to develop the skill standards held from May through to October 2024.

In October 2024 the draft standards were distributed for wider industry consultation with key stakeholders, including providers and the Temporary Traffic Management Credentials Framework Working Group, via the Waihanga Ara Rau website. All feedback was considered and actioned where appropriate.
