Summary of review and consultation process |
|
The qualifications above were scheduled for review in May 2025. However, at the request of industry and considering the upcoming transition to the new vocational education structure, NZQA approved a deferral of the review to December 2026. Although the reviewed qualifications had a last date of assessment of 31 December 2026, programmes leading to these versions have not been implemented. The sector continues to deliver only version 1. The last dates of entry for 2974 and 2975 were extended from 31 December 25 to 31 December 2026. The last dates of assessment for all qualifications were extended from 31 December 2026 to 31 December 2027 to support continuity of delivery and enable learner completion. This extension provides time for the 2026 qualification review and development of programmes for future delivery. Industry feedback confirmed that the qualifications remain the current delivery and continue to meet sector needs during this transition period. |
