Registration of Content Creation skill standards

Toi Mai Workforce Development Council has developed four new skill standards in the Content Creation domain.

Summary

This development, which includes four Level 2 new skill standards, is an expansion of the Content Creation domain. The new skill standards have been designed to promote creative expression in conjunction with technical competencies and provide preparatory training in a range of creative career contexts.

The development of these standards was led by Toi Mai Workforce Development Council and involved a collaborative process that included representatives from tertiary education providers, schools, industry professionals, and individuals with experience in informal training environments. Initial development occurred in March and April 2025, followed by a consultation phase that engaged key stakeholders and the wider public through the Toi Mai website. Feedback received was carefully reviewed and incorporated where appropriate.
