Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council has completed a rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.  Unit standard 32082 has been rolled over.

Summary

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council, in consultation with stakeholders, has rolled over and revised Security unit standards.

Relevant industry stakeholders have confirmed that these unit standards are still fit for purpose, and with skill standards being developed to align with Security suite of qualifications due for review by April 2028, agreed there is little benefit in making significant changes to these unit standards at this time.

Main changes

Rolled over and Revised unit standards

· The planned review date was extended to 31 December 2027.

· Standard setting body details were updated from Skills Organisation to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council.

· Privacy Act was updated in unit standards 25628, 21738, 21739, 25625, and 32084.

· Recommended for entry to unit standard 21738 was amended to reflect that learners already hold either unit standard 27361 or skill standard 40147.

Rolled over unit standard

· The last date of assessment for expiring standard 32082 was extended to 31 December 2027 due to being a prerequisite to unit standards 21738 and 22429.

Impact on Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR)

CMR was updated from CMR 0003 to CMR 0112 for the rolled over and revised unit standards.
